Upgrade the Odigos VM Agent on your Linux host

Running the agent as a container? See Docker Deployment for how to upgrade it.

To upgrade the Odigos VM Agent, run the following based on your Linux package manager:

DNF

Using dnf (RHEL, Fedora, Rocky Linux):

sudo dnf upgrade odigos

APT

Using apt (Debian, Ubuntu):

sudo apt upgrade odigos

RPM

If you use a package manager other than dnf or apt, run the following to upgrade the agent:

Replace <otelcol-version> and <agent-version> with the versions you downloaded.

rpm -Uvh odigos-otelcol-<otelcol-version>.rpm odigos-<agent-version>.rpm
